No, not the kind they serve you at high-class diners and restaurants. The kind of fried rice you get at a small joint almost anywhere in India, which can range between street shops on a trolley with a stove and a regular small hotel. The fried rice there is not classy or memorable. It tastes pretty good, and you’d don’t really have any reason to hate it. That’s about it.

After a particularly long drive from Pondicherry, my friend and me decided to take a break and stop over at A2B on the highway near Mahabalipuram. 30 minutes later we were done with the snack and stepped out to find that everything was dark.
